PRESS RELEASE: Bench Metrics Announces New Hire

July 31, 2018—The company makes necessary expansion to accommodate increased product demand.

SEATTLE, Wash.— Bench Metrics Hockey, LLC. announced today that the
company has named Adam Micheletti to the position of Senior Advisor of
Business Operations. Micheletti joins co-founders Jay Varady and
Michael Zucker on staff with Bench Metrics.

Micheletti joins Bench Metrics with nearly ten years of experience in
the field of hockey and business operations. Since beginning his
career in 2009, he has worked for the Dubuque Fighting Saints
(Director of Hockey and Business Operations, 2009-13), the United
States Hockey League (Director of Hockey Operations, 2013-15; Senior
Director of Hockey Operations, 2015-16), and as President of the
Lincoln Stars (2016-17). Micheletti was most recently part of a group
effort to bring a USHL team to the city of St. Louis.

“We are excited to add Adam to the Bench Metrics team for a number of
reasons,” said Zucker. “His track record over the years makes him the
perfect person to take over our coaching software as he knows the game
inside and out, and exhibits a level of professionalism and work ethic
that has resulted in him being highly respected throughout the hockey
coaching community. We are confident Adam is the right person to grow
our Bench Metrics coaching software, and continue to expand our
presence at all levels of the game throughout North America and
Europe.”

Micheletti has had a decorated career thus far, which includes being
named to the 2018 Sportsnet Top 25 NHL Power Brokers Watch List. He
managed the USHL/NHL Top Prospect Games during his time as Director of
Hockey Operations for the USHL and was on board with Dubuque for two
Clark Cup Championships (2011, 2013) and one Anderson Cup (2013).

“Bench Metrics is a phenomenal product that is revolutionizing data
gathering and analytics for coaches,” said Micheletti. “I am very
excited to be a part of this company and appreciate the opportunity
given to me by Jay and Michael. This is the best coaching tool on the
market and it is applicable for everyone, from a youth coach to a head
coach in the NHL.”

Bench Metrics Hockey has designed a software from the ground up to
organize the essential information that coaches have kept in
spreadsheets and three-ring binders for years. The company works
alongside hockey coaching staffs to provide a more concise and
explanatory form of statistical analysis. The software provides
detailed, in depth, and broad looks at the tendencies of both teams
and individuals, while also providing a comparison of players to their
teammates. With its sophisticated yet easy-to- read reports, Bench
Metrics can be used by anyone in an organization to evaluate the
entire team and individual player on-ice performance, creating a more
effective coaching staff all-around.
